              SPAC Board Position Descriptions

Secretary-Treasurer
The Secretary-Treasurer shall keep the minutes of the meetings of SPAC, Officers and Executive Committee, and a record of attendance at SPAC Meetings. The Secretary-Treasurer shall be the custodian of the funds of SPAC and shall be responsible for the receipt and distribution of all monies in accordance with the budget.
 
Legislative Analyst
The Legislative Analyst(s) shall monitor both the Florida and federal legislative bodies for issues in accordance with SPAC’s Position Statements. She shall report on these issues at SPAC meetings and through appropriate correspondences as necessary. The Legislative Analyst should be in a position to regularly monitor the activities of the Florida and federal legislative bodies.
 
Task Force Chairs
The Task Force Chairs are to perform or supervise the performance of all functions assigned to her Task Force as directed by the Chair.
 
The following are the 3 Task Forces in SPAC:
1. Education
2. Children & Families
3. Health, Environment & Criminal Justice
 
Public Relations Chair
The Public Relations Chair is responsible for all aspects of Public Relations for SPAC, including but not limited to :
1. Developing a marketing strategy for SPAC, 
2. Writing and Sending press releases,
3. Creating a newsletter and other SPAC marketing material
 
Historian
The Historian assembles and preserves the record of activities and achievements of the SPAC , and taking pictures of SPAC related events. 

Website Coordinator
The Website Coordinator is responsible for keeping the Website information current and assisting with social networking Web sites.
